EVENT DETAILS

Organized by the SSC and Alumni Association, "Life After Mac" is an upcoming day-long career building conference for all McMaster students. The event aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to transition successfully into the workforce. The conference will feature a guest lecture by Nancy Watts, who will speak on "What to do when you don't know what to do," a topic that is relevant to many students as they embark on their job search. Additionally, there will be a panel discussion with employers in the late afternoon where students can ask questions about their expectations for applicants, their application process, and their current employment opportunities.

The event will take place on May 9th, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at PGCLL.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided, and attendees can enter into a giveaway to win a professional LinkedIn photoshoot by registering early with a $5 admin fee to secure their spot. Seating for this high demand event is limited, so interested students are encouraged to register early.

Please contact Noor at ahmadn1@mcmaster.ca if the cost of the event deters you from registering.
