Mac alumni are eligible for reduced membership fees to the Athletics and Recreation facilities in the David Braley Athletic Centre and Pulse Fitness Centre. One of the largest fitness centres at a Canadian university; the David Braley Centre includes a double gymnasium, certified indoor 200-Metre track, four international squash courts, multipurpose studios for karate, yoga, dance and tai chi, a climbing wall and a cycling studio. Alumni can access McMaster Libraries free of charge! 

To apply for borrowing privileges, please visit the Library Services Desk at any campus library. (*Please visit the Library website to confirm opening hours.) To establish your alumni status, Library staff will ask for your alumni ID number or will contact the Office of Alumni Advancement for confirmation.

While many databases and e-journals are not available to alumni from off campus due to licensing restrictions, McMaster has licensed JSTOR and other significant collections. To access these e-resources, you will first need to set up an Alumni Access account. Once this is done you can access these resources directly from off-campus, but you must start your search from the Alumni Library Services page.

If you come to one of our libraries you will be able to access additional resources, but access is only on-site, on a temporary one-day basis.
