Please join us for Mac Reads, McMaster Alumni Association's book club. This program is a great opportunity to read thought-provoking books, meet new people and interact directly with authors.

Book club guests can come prepared to discuss and ask questions or simply observe and listen. Participation in the discussion is voluntary and even guests who have not completed the book being discussed will still enjoy the evening.

The book club meets two to three times a year on campus in the evenings.  Guest speakers range from local authors to Canadian writers.  We've had the pleasure of hosting on campus some of Canada's leading authors including, Richard Wagamese, Steve Paikin, Dr. Samantha Nutt, Terry Fallis, Anne Simpson, Gary Geddes, André Alexis, Trevor Cole, and Lawrence Hill.
